Privacy Policy

This page explains how WildFrog handles account data, check-ins, photos, location, hike recordings, and support requests.

1. 概覽

2. 我們收集或處理的資料

  • 帳戶資料:登入供應商提供的用戶 ID、電郵地址、電話號碼及顯示名稱。
  • 打卡資料:山峰 ID、打卡日期、打卡次數、解鎖稱號、排行榜顯示資料及同步狀態。
  • 相片資料:你選擇的頭像及打卡相。頭像及打卡相主要儲存在你的裝置;你主動儲存或分享時會由系統相簿或分享功能處理。
  • 定位資料:用來判斷你是否接近山峰打卡點、計算距離、顯示路線,及在你主動開始行程記錄時記錄路線點。
  • 行程記錄:你主動開始記錄後的 GPS 路線點、距離、時間、上升高度及接近山頂距離。
  • 天氣資料:打卡時用於顯示山峰附近天氣的資料快照。
  • 支援資料:你主動電郵給我們的問題、電郵地址及相關內容。

3. 資料用途

  • 提供登入、雲端同步、打卡、排行榜、稱號、登頂證書和行程記錄功能。
  • 確認你是否接近指定山峰打卡點。
  • 在你開始記錄行程時支援背景位置更新及 Live Activity 顯示。
  • 回覆支援查詢及維持 app 功能可靠。

WildFrog 不會售賣你的資料,不會用於廣告追蹤,也不會與資料經紀共享。

4. 第三方服務

WildFrog 使用以下服務提供核心功能:

  • Firebase Authentication:帳戶登入。
  • Firebase Firestore:雲端同步打卡紀錄及排行榜所需資料。
  • Google Sign-In 及 Sign in with Apple:你選擇使用時作登入用途。
  • Apple Maps:你選擇開啟地圖導航時,目的地及導航由 Apple Maps 處理。
  • Apple Photos / Share Sheet:你選擇儲存或分享相片、證書或水印卡時由系統功能處理。

5. 定位和背景定位

WildFrog 只會在你授權後使用定位。背景定位只會在你主動開始行程記錄時使用,用來持續記錄路線、 更新距離及支援 Live Activity。你可在 iOS 設定中隨時更改定位權限。

6. 資料保留與刪除帳戶

你可以在 app 的「我的」頁面刪除帳戶。刪除帳戶會嘗試移除你的雲端打卡紀錄及 Firebase 帳戶, 並清除裝置上的頭像設定及打卡相檔案。部分由系統相簿、分享功能、Apple Maps、登入供應商或你電郵給我們的支援訊息所保存的資料,需按相應服務或系統設定管理。

7. 兒童私隱

WildFrog 並非專為兒童而設。如你認為兒童在未獲監護人同意下向我們提供個人資料,請聯絡我們。

1. Overview

WildFrog is a Hong Kong mountain check-in, hike recording, leaderboard, and summit collection app made and operated by rainsday. For privacy questions, contact privacy@rainsday.com.

2. Data We Collect or Process

  • Account data: provider user ID, email address, phone number, and display name.
  • Check-in data: mountain ID, check-in date, check-in counts, unlocked titles, leaderboard display data, and sync status.
  • Photo data: profile photos and check-in photos selected by you. These are primarily stored on your device; system Photos and sharing tools handle images when you save or share them.
  • Location data: used to confirm summit proximity, calculate distance, show routes, and record route points after you start hike recording.
  • Hike records: GPS route points, distance, duration, ascent, and summit approach distance after you start recording.
  • Weather snapshots: used to show weather near a checked-in mountain.
  • Support data: messages and contact details you send to us for support.

3. How Data Is Used

  • To provide sign-in, cloud sync, check-ins, leaderboards, titles, summit certificates, and hike recording.
  • To confirm whether you are close enough to a mountain checkpoint.
  • To support background location updates and Live Activity while you are actively recording a hike.
  • To respond to support requests and maintain app reliability.

WildFrog does not sell personal data, does not use advertising tracking, and does not share data with data brokers.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Firebase Authentication for account sign-in.
  • Firebase Firestore for cloud check-in sync and leaderboard data.
  • Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple when you choose those providers.
  • Apple Maps when you choose to open map navigation.
  • Apple Photos and Share Sheet when you save or share images, certificates, or watermark cards.

5. Location and Background Location

WildFrog uses location only after you grant permission. Background location is used only during a user-initiated hike recording session to continue route recording, distance updates, and Live Activity support. You can change location permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

6. Retention and Account Deletion

You can delete your account from the Profile screen in the app. Account deletion attempts to remove your cloud check-in records and Firebase account, and clears local profile settings and check-in photo files on the device. Data handled by system Photos, sharing, Apple Maps, sign-in providers, or support email is managed by the relevant system or service.

7. Children's Privacy

WildFrog is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without guardian consent, please contact us.
